Parents Drop-in Session at Laisterdyke Leadership Academy

We have been asked to advertise the following event at Laisterdyke Leadership  Academy, Thornbury Road,  BD3 8HE.

On Thursday 25^th April 1.00 p.m. — 3.00 p.m. There will be a drop-in session where there will be representatives from a number of agencies including:

· Early Help,

· Neighbourhood wardens,

· Housing

· Social prescribers,

· Mental health support team

If you wish to attend but feel uncomfortable going on your own, Miss Garner is more than happy to attend with you.  If you require any further information please speak to Miss Garner.

Friends of Penny Oaks

    Thank you to everyone who attended the meeting on Wednesday afternoon.  We will be holding another one soon.        Keep an eye open for the date.

      Year 2 Assembly

  Mrs Cieloch would like to thank all the parents who attended Year 2 assembly on Thursday morning.

     Lateness

 There is still a large number of children constantly arriving late for school.  This is unacceptable. The school doors   open at 8.40 a.m. and close at 8.50 a.m.  All children are expected to be in class at 8.50 a.m. ready to start their   lessons.  Children arriving after this time are missing valuable learning time as well as disrupting the rest of the class.   We will be monitoring this and parents may be invited to a meeting with Mrs. Khambhaita and Mrs. Spafford.

    Breakfast Club

 We still have plenty of places available for Breakfast Club for children in Reception to Yr. 6. Doors open at 8.00 a.m.   and close at 8.30 a.m. The cost is 50p per day and can be paid via Parent Pay.
