Welcome to St Mary's & St Peter's Catholic Primary School

We are excited to announce that we are working with Rethink Food to support in their mission to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for children, young people and communities by changing the way we think about food. As part of this project there will be a stall outside of school EVERY WEDNESDAY MORNING selling food delivered by Rethink Food. The stall is run on a "pay as you feel" basis - so whatever you think your purchase is worth is how much you pay! Click on the link below for more information about Rethink Food and the work that they do:

School Dinners

Due to the current situation children are eating their lunch in their classroom, school dinners are therefore being served in class. Due to health and safety we have therefore had to adapt our menu to ensure that it can safely be delivered to class whilst ensuring that the children still receive a hot meal.  Below is the menu for the next 2 weeks - we have adapted this after feedback from some children and parents to include a side order of chips/fries on some days.

Welcome to our school

Hello and welcome to St Mary's and St Peter's school website.

On this website we hope you will find everything you want and some extras. On here there are activities for the children to do and a chance for the adults to find out all about what we are doing in our school.

Our school prides itself on being an exciting and fun place for the children to come and learn.

School Mission

God is at the centre of everything we do.

We look after everyone and celebrate how special we all are. Together we encourage children to be anything that they dream to be.

Our school is full of different people who follow God's path fairly, lovingly and put the needs of others first.

"I have come so that they may have life, and have it to the full" - (John 10.10)

Our School Ethos

At St Mary’s and St Peter’s we provide a welcoming, safe and happy school where everyone is respected and listened to. Our ambitious curriculum is designed to develop a love of learning and to deliver the best possible outcomes for all pupils; it is underpinned by 3 drivers: healthy lifestyles, experiences and aspirations.

We aim to provide our pupils with the lifelong learning skills that will enable them to succeed in the next stage of their education and into adulthood.

Above all we want our children to aspire to achieve as highly as possible in their adult life and to believe that anything is possible. We aim to provide a range of opportunities to nurture develop and stretch children’s interests such as music lessons in school, educational visits, after school clubs and work in our local community.
