Class Teacher: Mrs S Thorne
Support Staff: Mrs B Farrell
Our PE days are Monday and Tuesday. Please ensure your child has a full P.E kit in school at all times. It is expected that all items are named and kept in a clearly named bag.
The children will need their swimming kits every Monday.
Our class visits the library on a Friday so please make sure books are brought back to be changed.
The children will be given spellings to learn every Monday and will be tested on them on Friday. Please support your child in learning their spellings through the week.
A homework grid relating to the topic being covered will be sent home at the beginning of each half term. The children are expected to research and produce answers to at least 2 of the questions. They can answer the questions with as much creativity as they wish. They will be expected to share their work with the rest of the class.

If you had to describe our school in one word, what would it be?
We had a fantastic but tiring time during our Challenge day learning about different exercises and exercise routines. We learned a lot and from this have designed our own exercise routines for others to try.
We have continued our learning about the World Wars by visiting Bradford Cathedral, where we learned more fascinating facts.
As part of our work on the World Wars, we visited the Imperial War Museum in Manchester. We were also lucky enough to have a visit from a soldier in our army today. We learned so many facts and got the chance to look at all the kit a soldier needs.
